Origen's correspondence






It is composed of over 100 letters of personalities or some people less familiar. Origen corresponded with King Philip and his wife; another letter is addressed Fabian, the bishop of Rome, one by Julius Africanus, another by his former disciple St. Gregory the Wonderworker and more by various bishops and laity [1]. Eusebius says that he compiled a collection of his letters, classified special volume is not lost on the other hand Jerome speaks of three collections of letters in 13 books (Letter 33, 4) [2].
