Representation of the Holy Spirit

Churches and icon painters are more familiar with the representation of the Holy Spirit, like a Dove , and in particular, the feast of Pentecost, in the form of tongues of fire. Christians know that the Holy Spirit is the third Person of the Trinity, undivided, undivided and unmixed as described by St. Gregory the Theologian.

Also, uncreated grace is an energy that comes from the Father, through the Son, the Holy Spirit descends upon us. The Apostle says that the Spirit is One but His gifts are many.
In painting the artist to understand the Holy Spirit, other than as represented in iconography, real colors of the rainbow, they remind you of God's gifts to the multitude that is poured out upon us.
