Ornamental Plant Connection with Religious Symbols

According to Tradition and Scripture flora and fauna have been created by God before being shaped the man. The reason for this order / chronology, it tells us that the Holy Fathers specifically designed for the Logos of God [1] to create the best conditions created in the image of the Image master [2] what was to come on the sixth day of creation. Since the beginning of the world in Genesis Bible tells us that between man and nature in perfect synergy, and man had to guard and oversee the good order of nature Paradise (Gen. 2, 15). The man lived freely without paradisiacal state to work was like a child [3] but still have kept the commandment not to eat of that tree of knowledge of good and evil. Literally speaking, we could say that evil entered the world through disobedience and a plant this tree enigmatic than the Fathers interpreted. In any case there is a communion primordial state / synergy between God, man and nature. After the fall of man the first crafts were gardening and livestock and man ate only plants and products of animal kingdom until the flood. Also Bible tells us that Noah after the flood that planted the first vineyard and get drunk, so committing a "incest" and thus sin entered into the world but all the fruit of the vine alive later Savior restores the world through the Mystery of the Eucharist. (Theophilus of Antioch says that some plants were planted by God Himself to delight the eye of man) ornamental plants in the Old Testament had extraordinarily important role. Noah sent the dove returns to the ark with an olive branch of peace and reconciliation sign between God and man (of disaster, chaos and return to life after the flood nature) are symbols of joy. The plantes Jesus Christ is received in Jerusalem olive branches and palm. Confirmation (Ie30; 23) is made from (50 herbs) has a special role is enshrined ointment kings, prophets, kings and bishops. The ointment is holy (consecrated) churches and the smell of this product is the symbol of the Holy Spirit [4] , which sanctifies us all. Ark of the Covenant old commandment of God is adorned with "gold leaf" and also the candlestick ark had to have cups of almond on his time (Ies25; 33). Haulm of Jonah [5] (Jonah 4; 10) is the link between heaven and earth, and man's need for beautiful, in all religious protection. Mai plants had an important role as architects inspired by today churches and religious objects are processed layout designs and shapes of plants. For example in religious painting will notify the braids, the priestly clothes vines on books, stained etc.In language. Normal there a wide range of beneficial plants with names of saints religious denomination (palm Virgin Mary etc ... should be given some statistics as examples even in%) where certain habits remained until today (eg 'manufacturing Holy Cross, funeral wreaths etc). In the Orthodox Church there and plant protectors Saints Saint Tryphon is commemorated on February 1 saint of farmers who prays constantly for fruiting plants and protection from insects and calamities. It was therefore established and customary on this day to make holy water priests and faithful to divide fields and splashing fountains. Returning to the Old Testament, Clement of Alexandria says that Jacob's rod was stirax wood [6] (Gen. 30, 37) sign kingdom, but also a symbol of the nation and change his nature that was to be born of his seed. Another criterion of the Holy Scriptures, we see that God is revealed near the plants or even as "plants". For example Trinity is shown to Abraham in Mamre OAK symbol of life and later to Moses in the burning bush which is supposed to be the thorn / thistles [7] . Thorns which later were intertwined and placed on the head Jesus. Saint Basil the Great in his homily said that the world began roses have thorns, no, " was later added spin beauty flower " [8] to have pain near cheerfulness enjoyment, to remind us of sin because of which the earth was condemned to rise thorns. (Gen. 3; 18) . Also thorns symbolizes sin and sinners exposed supreme example of the Savior in His parable (Matthew 13; 22). Instead everything in this parable Jesus reminds the grain of wheat that falls on good ground and bring forth. I mean those who receive God's word and it will spread. Must noted that wheat is dead and cage which also symbolizes death and resurrection germ (wheat). A third symbol of the ear of wheat to be remembered is the wealth and the human need to survive after the Savior's words in prayer Royal "our daily bread every day give us new today" where some people may have been inspired and have ornate flag this plant. Another plant with religious symbol was mentioned very often in Scripture is the lily symbol of purity and beauty. (It is assumed that the goddess liked lily and the Artemis myrtle). All dogmatist and the Holy Fathers [9] compares the Mother Light with the lily. The angel Gabriel in the Annunciation iconography is represented with a lily in a the hand. Solomon its famous temple adorned the crowns of their heads pillars bucket lilies and pomegranates of bronze. (III R 7; 19-20). Creatures Himself says about this plant that is so beautiful as Solomon in all his glory was not able to dress / decorate the lily. (Lc12: 27). Another symbol of beauty with religious aspect is edelweiss, a protected plant that grows only on the rocks, is the mirror ascetic, girlfriend ascetic man / hermit. Both the Greeks and the Hebrew (during singing of psalms) were meals as appropriate practice has crept in to take a myrtle branch in hand at singing. The song was called scolion and had the honor and joy to him who was invited to sing so thank God for bringing all the benefits [10] . Later in Christianity myrtle was a symbol of death and the grave plant (probably for fragrance).

Returning to Holy Cross mark X Universe opinion of philosophers and Fathers [11] was foreshadowed since the time of the great prophet Moses to "help" his staff committed all the wonders of the desert (by touching the rod sea cliff is prefigured sign of the cross). Interestingly, this is a sign of christian people a large number of plants called "cruciferous plants seeds" such as walnut fruit, grapes, watermelons etc and lilac flowers, clover.  In some parts of the country (especially in rural Moldova) custom preserved in the Holy Cross on September 14 not to consume vegetables or plants with seeds in this form, under the pretext of remembering the Lord's Passion What was crucified on the Cross. In a parenthesis remember this day it's toughest job where probably was implemented habit of not eating anything including these vegetables or plant"s. Must mentioned that there are two categories of plants with positive and negative religious symbol. (Thorns, weeds , barren fig tree, thistles and brambles plants are plants with negative symbol represents evil, wicked devil or children who always reads that will be thrown into the fire Mt 13, 30. As we saw thorns and thistles are the epitome of sin, of evil and suffering I 3; 18 tares symbolize the children of the wicked after the statement Savior Mt 13; 38. The Holy Bible in one of the parables of Jesus is given as advice thick but still barren fig tree, and saw that coming master is the third year of tree fool he ordered the gardener to cut it because it makes shadow in vain on earth. It asks the owner to leave him a year to dig around it and put manure in the root hoping to -and return Lk 13: 7. First of all we must know that the tree is one of the basic tree in the East, (apple, plum for Europe). Therefore this tree is mentioned many times in Scripture with various excuses and I can not give a precise religious symbol. In this case the fig tree represents man "mundane" although apparently is beautiful leaves, aesthetic, no fruit. By this parable we suggest that man has different gifts and graces but must run, be useful for God and neighbor and the Lord does not expect us a while, maybe prayers of saints intervene for us (the gardener) and so we find also unfruitful (whitewashed tombs beautiful on the outside and hollow inside with rotting) 'comes ax (death). On the other hand the fig tree is a symbol of peace and prosperity as in the Old Testament describes Moses the Promised Land as a country with fig Det 8; 8. Usually fig trees are planted on the roadside and Tsarina or were / are a true blessing to pilgrims, workers in hot days. The Hebrew feast of Pentecost was the so-called or the feast of harvest (Hah hakkaşir) [12] . It was called Pentecost Since we are held after the fifty days of the beginning of barley harvest and of wheat (Ex 34; 22 Deut 16; 10). As an extension of this celebration, the Holy Spirit descended in Christianity as " tongues of fire " in the fifty Resurrection day where Christianity in the name of Pentecost (Acts 2, 1-3) .For this feast in the Church Orthodox faithful is customary to bring the Mass twigs with leaves of walnut and lime to be sanctified. Lime leaves and walnut are tongues of fire, which was Cobo Paraclete God and sanctified the apostles. In the book of the prophet Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar dreams of a big tree that was high up in the sky and all kinds of birds living in the tree and its shadow rested on different animals. Defending an angel of God commanded to be felled tree. Interpreters supposed to be a sequal, but the king never seeing such a tree it can not remain mere name and description of large tree. God uses this tree in Nebuchadnezzar's dream to send the next seven years will suffer from a disease called zoopathia, cruel punishment for his behavior and in particular pride then you know the Most High (Daniel 4; 22). We see here an interesting interpretation of (plant), this magnificent tree that represents it in all its glory Babylonian king also fallen animals.
The Orthodox and Catholic ritual incense there . Incense is a sin nature   brought against God. The same candle consumes itself spreading odor pleasing to God and men . Otherwise priest censes / cense says " Incense we bring to Thee , O Christ our God , in order to spiritual sweet odor that well received in thy altar above the heavens , send us your new grace Blessed Spirit " . Incense is indispensable in the Orthodox and Catholic Sacraments and religious at all and incense is used especially in the Divine Liturgy .
Incense is a solidified resin flowing from Bosswelia Serrata tree or Floribunda Papiryfesa that grows in China, Ethiopia, Somalia, India and Egypt. As a symbol Çadır incense has several meanings; is the fragrance of the Holy Spirit, or Çadır during Blessings Resurrection imagine the flavor (spices) made of women's prude at the tomb of the Lord [13] . In the Old Testament God Himself explains incense and even indicate a mixture of aromatic and then to show the tabernacle of the congregation. (Ex 30; 34-36).
If the Old Testament Jacob's rod was of wood symbolize stirax and scepter in the New Testament but the King of glory shall bring gold and frankincense, myrrh (Mt 2, 11) ie stirax tree resin. The cult is increasingly being used for odor pleasing and in ancient times it was believed that removes the temptations and evil thoughts.
Another decorative plant is fragrant basil. Like incense is indispensable in the Orthodox as used in the consecration service water (holy water). Holy priests after taking a bunch of basil water tight and soak it in holy water and sprinkling the faithful and their homes. Bundle, (union wires basil) of the priest's hand symbolizes the dedication monad the faithful present's water body of the Church come to worship the Lord of Life Plateaus with nature.
So plants have a vital role on earth is a "sun" green also vital air. Plants look delights us, feed us and gives us a longer and healthier life (vegetarian, fasting etc) enchants us and make us smell more sensitive. Flowers / plants gives us almost all remedies and treatments for diseases or even all if we know how to use them.
In conclusion we must remember that man is the master of the earth and must take care of receiving the gift (Gen. 2, 15) and by not "nature" will rebel against their human to shorten greed to destroy flora. While spending a lot of money for conservation and preservation of flora represents international conferences to stop the mass slaughter of forests "money" are more valuable.
